Job Details:
Provide anesthesia coverage in OB Labor Suite including epidural placement and management, spinal placement for C-sections, C-section care, and postoperative roundsCoverage needed Monday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with Saturday and Sunday coverage available in 24 or 12-hour shifts to cover the entire weekendMust have 30 documented epidurals placed within the past 2 years for credentialing purposesExpected patient encounters of approximately 8 patients per shiftGeneral anesthesia skills required for adult patients, preferred for pediatric patientsSpinal anesthesia and epidural anesthesia skills requiredRegional anesthesia surgery skills requiredObstetrical case experience requiredProficiency in evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues requiredArterial line placement preferredActive ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications requiredBoard certification required at minimum Certified levelFacility:
