Job description

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial concrete construction projects in South Hill, Virginia. This individual will oversee field operations, drive project execution, and play a key role in the continued expansion of a growing regional operation. Description Lead field operations for large-scale commercial construction projects with significant concrete scopes. Oversee project safety, quality, scheduling, and daily execution activities. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain project milestones. Manage project logistics, manpower planning, and resource allocation. Ensure all work is completed according to contract documents, specifications, and quality standards. Partner with project management teams to track progress, budgets, and project performance. Conduct daily site meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve field challenges to minimize project disruptions. Mentor and develop field personnel while fostering a strong team environment. Support the successful delivery of multiple mission-critical construction projects within the region. Profile 10+ years of construction superintendent experience. Strong commercial concrete construction experience is required. Experience overseeing large concrete scopes including foundations, slabs, structural concrete, or tilt-wall construction. Data center or mission-critical project experience is highly preferred. Proven ability to lead projects valued at approximately $12M or greater. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and field operations effectively. Experience maintaining safety, quality, and production standards on active jobsites. Must be local to the South Hill, VA area or willing to permanently relocate. Ability to step into a project quickly with minimal ramp-up time.
