Job description

Opportunity:

CRNA - 1099 CRNA/AA


Job Details:

  • CRNA coverage available in 8, 10, 12, and 24-hour shifts

  • 24-hour shifts are primarily limited to holidays and surrounding days

  • 12-hour shifts are needed mostly on Thursdays and Fridays

  • Long-term need until permanent staff can be recruited

  • 24-hour OB CRNA will be in-house covering labor epidurals; physician on call must be contacted for C-sections or other needs beyond labor epidurals

  • Physician on call provides support via phone or on-site with a 30-minute response time per policy

  • Call volume is variable and dependent on emergency room intake

  • EMR systems used: Sunrise (AKA Altera) for hospital and MedAxion for anesthesia

  • ACLS and NBCRNA or ABA certification required at minimum

  • OB CRNA must have at least 1 year of CRNA experience with OB experience

  • Approximately 15 ORs/anesthetizing locations depending on the day

  • Procedures include General, Endo, OB, and cardiac EP cases; excludes ENT, Pediatrics, Neuro, and CV cardiac team cases

  • Level III Adult Trauma Center

  • OR support staff includes anesthesia nurses and support technicians

  • CRNAs are able to perform regional blocks and line placements

  • Collaborative and respectful team care model with a positive culture

  • Anesthesiologists may supervise up to 3 CRNAs depending on procedural locations

  • Estimated 2-4 24-hour shifts per month plus approximately two day shifts for physician coverage

The organization operates a Level III Adult Trauma Center and supports a collaborative team care model across approximately 15 ORs and anesthetizing locations.
