WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HANDS-ON MECHANIC WHO IS WILLING TO HELP WHERE NEEDED
LMA Striping & Sealcoating is looking for a dependable, mechanically skilled Equipment & Small Engine Mechanic / Field Support employee to keep our equipment maintained, our crews prepared, and our shop and yard organized.
Our crews perform parking lot striping, sealcoating, hydro blasting, asphalt, and related construction work throughout the region. Equipment downtime costs us money, and poor preparation costs us time.
Your primary responsibility will be keeping our equipment operational and ready for work. However, this is not a position where you sit around waiting for something to break.
When equipment maintenance is caught up, you will help prepare crews for upcoming projects, organize materials and equipment, maintain the shop and yard, and handle other tasks necessary to keep our field operations moving.
If you are someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done without having to be told repeatedly, we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK
Our equipment includes:
Small gasoline engines, including Honda GX-series engines
Striping machines and Line Drivers
Hydro-blasting equipment
Sealcoating equipment, pumps, hoses, and spray systems
Pressure washers
Compressors, generators, and pumps
Trailers and trailer components
Hand tools and power equipment
Company trucks and support vehicles
Various construction and parking-lot-maintenance equipment
You don't have to know every piece of equipment on Day 1. You do need strong mechanical ability, common sense, and the willingness to learn.
