Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Job - General Anesthesiology Opportunity

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,050-$3,550
- Location: Houston, Texas
- Start Date: 11/1/2026
- End Date: 4/18/2027
- Duration: 24 weeks
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7A-5P, with weekend and holiday call coverage from 7A-7A
- Case Mix: Trauma, cardiac anesthesia, ENT, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonary, general surgery, urology, bariatrics, and Level III NICU coverage
- Setting: Busy hospital-based anesthesiology practice with a collaborative care team model
Job Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
- 1+ year of anesthesiology experience preferred; strong new graduates may be considered
- Comfort supervising CRNAs within a care team model
- Ability to manage a broad range of surgical and specialty cases
- Commitment to safe, patient-centered anesthesia care
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across a broad and varied surgical case mix
- Supervise 1 to 3 operating rooms as part of a collaborative anesthesia care team
- Support weekday coverage and participate in weekend and holiday call coverage as scheduled
- Work closely with CRNAs and the broader perioperative team to maintain efficient workflow
- Contribute to high-quality care for complex surgical and specialty patients in a Houston hospital setting
