Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. Required experience includes five (5) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in software engineering or backend systems development. Experience must involve each of the following: Developing, testing, and maintaining backend software services and application programming interfaces (APIs) for production applications; Designing and implementing distributed systems to support scalable, high availability applications; Working with data storage technologies, including relational and/or non relational databases, to support backend services; Deploying and operating backend systems in cloud based or containerized environments; Monitoring, debugging, and resolving issues in production software systems; Collaborating with cross functional teams to translate functional requirements into backend technical solutions. Employer will accept a Masters degree and 3 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience.
