Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to support multifamily construction projects, with a preference for candidates experienced in luxury apartments, high-rise condominiums, or similar residential developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction costs, subcontractor pricing, and project takeoffs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and quantity takeoffs for multifamily construction projects.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks.
Collaborate with project management and preconstruction teams.
Maintain organized bid documentation and ensure estimates meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Experience in construction estimating, preferably in multifamily residential construction.
Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and subcontractor bids.
Proficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
Preferred: Experience with luxury multifamily projects, high-rise condominiums, and tools such as Procore.
