We are actively looking for a motivated early-career Process Engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems, working across disciplines, and learning quickly. This role is an excellent opportunity for an engineer early in their career to develop strong process-design skills while supporting projects for customers in manufacturing, energy, refining, chemical processing, food and beverage, data centers, and other industrial markets. You will work directly with experienced engineers, sales teams, operations, technicians, vendors, and customers to evaluate applications, perform calculations, select equipment, prepare technical deliverables, and support projects from inquiry through execution. The right candidate is curious, dependable, technically grounded, and eager to grow into a well-rounded industrial process engineer. Support the engineering and execution of temporary and permanent process solutions involving chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumps, air handlers, boilers, load banks, piping, and related equipment. Review customer requirements and site information; identify missing data; help define practical, safe, and cost-conscious engineering solutions. Perform engineering calculations for heat and mass balances, flow rates, pressure drop, heat duty, pump requirements, cooling and heating loads, ventilation, and basic utility sizing. Assist with equipment selection, preliminary process design, line sizing, and development of process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment lists, and installation sketches. Prepare clear technical proposals, calculation packages, operating narratives, scopes of work, equipment lists, and internal project handoff documentation. Learn and apply process and system-sizing tools such as HTRI, Symmetry, Microsoft Visio, Excel, and other engineering software used by the team. Coordinate with operations and field teams to confirm equipment availability, connections, electrical needs, controls, logistics, and installation constraints. Participate in customer calls and occasional site visits to support data gathering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project closeout. Work closely with sales teams to translate customer needs into technically sound solutions and explain engineering recommendations in clear, practical language. Follow EquipmentShare safety expectations and contribute to engineering reviews, lessons learned, standard work, and continuous improvement.
