American Pro Insurance is a Texas-based commercial insurance agency specializing in trucking. We are hiring 1 2 licensed Property & Casualty producers to join our commercial trucking team immediately.
The opportunity: You will work agency-provided leads, owner-operators, new authorities, and small fleets, with carrier access and hands-on quoting support behind you. No buying your own leads, no cold start from zero: our team helps with quoting and filings so you can focus on selling and serving clients.
What you'll do:
- Make high-volume outbound calls to trucking businesses from agency-provided leads
- Quote and bind commercial trucking policies (liability, physical damage, cargo, and related lines)
- Follow up on renewals and pipeline opportunities
- Document activity accurately in the agency CRM
- Deliver a professional, responsive experience to every prospect and client
Compensation & employment:
- W-2 employee position, full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
- $7.25/hour guaranteed minimum wage for Texas-based employees
- Commission-based compensation, with earnings exceeding the hourly guarantee when commissions are higher
- Competitive tiered commissions on new business, plus additional compensation based on eligible brokerage fees
- Compensation is structured as hourly wages versus commissions, whichever is greater, subject to applicable workweek minimum-wage, overtime, and payroll requirements
- Agency-provided leads, carrier access, quoting assistance, training, and professional development
Required:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound sales calls
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a professional remote work environment
- Organized and comfortable using CRM software
Preferred:
- Commercial trucking insurance experience
- Commercial insurance sales experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
