Position: Customer Engineer Req # M5939 Location: Chandler, AZ Duties: Analyze system solutions using standard procedures. Identify complex problems and needs at the customer site and work throughout the work cycle until the implementation of the solution. Participate in customer technical review meetings and provide guidance on tool performance. Provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex solutions. Troubleshoot hardware, solve complex problems, and make equipment work better including Applied Materials 200mm Etch Centura Mainframe and Dielectric Deposition equipment. Work beside global customers to install, maintain and upgrade their Applied Materials equipment. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance and upgrade equipment. Follow procedures to test equipment and to diagnose and resolve technical problems. Complete required job documentation, safety training and procedures for processing parts. Requirements: Associates degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Digital multimeters; 2. Oscilloscopes; 3. Signature analyzers; 4. Precision torque wrenches; 5. Reading and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; 6. Electronic troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques; 7. Preventive maintenance practices on electromechanical equipment; 8.
