Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled QC Microbiology Analyst to perform routine and non-routine microbiological and biological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, environmental samples, and stability samples.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform microbiological testing, including bioburden, microbial limits, bacterial endotoxin, sterility, Gram staining, and preservative efficacy testing.
Develop, qualify, validate, and transfer microbiological testing methods.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, biosafety standards, and proper handling of biological materials.
Conduct visual inspections of samples and finished products for contamination.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations, and contamination issues.
Prepare and revise SOPs, testing protocols, validation reports, and technical documentation.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including incubators, autoclaves, and biosafety cabinets.
Review microbiological data, perform trend analysis, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Support internal audits, regulatory submissions, and contract laboratory activities.
Train laboratory personnel on microbiological procedures and testing methods.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in microbiological testing within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environments.
Hands-on experience with some of the following: Bioburden, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Limits, Gram Staining, or Preservative Efficacy Testing.
Knowledge of USP, ISO, GMP guidelines, and LIMS.
Experience with method validation, investigations, and quality documentation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
