The company is a provider of maintenance services for marine engines and machinery. It is seeking the services of a Marine Engineer to carry out the following duties: apply knowledge of diesel engine technology, intakes, scavenging and exhaust systems, injection systems, starting and reversing methods, and cooling and lubricating systems to design and coordinate installation, maintenance, modification, and/or repair of various types of diesel engines and related marine components; test critical systems, identifying potential issues or causes of errors or defects, developing solutions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, machinery, equipment, safety, and security regulations and standards governing service and maintenance of marine engines and machinery; develop procedures and guidelines for proper inspection and maintenance of shipboard marine equipment; determine appropriate marine systems and components; coordinate predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance and repair activities; perform regular pre and post navigation inspections.
Education and Experience Requirements: Associate in Marine Engineering or related
