Job description
Houston, TX Full-Time $17 $19 per hour, based on experience
Full-time, Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
Turn Great Service into Lasting Relationships
Our sign and graphics business in Houston grows one relationship at a time, and we're looking for a people-first professional to lead the way.
As our Client Account Specialist, you'll welcome every customer, understand their needs, and guide them through each order with confidence. When challenges come up, you'll handle them with patience and quick thinking, so clients leave happier than when they arrived. Your success will be measured by the loyalty you build: customers who return, refer their friends, and trust us for years.
Why Join Us
Rewarding pay: $17 $19 per hour, depending on your experience
Consistent hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional overtime
Training from day one: front counter sales, product knowledge, key lines, and the owner's manual
Career growth: advance into senior account leadership as our client base expands
A team that values you: your relationships drive the success of the entire business
Your Role
Deliver Outstanding Client Care
Greet walk-in visitors and answer incoming calls and emails as the voice of our business
Handle client concerns with patience, find fast solutions, and keep clients updated until the matter is closed
Thank every client personally with a handwritten card included with each order
Stay in regular contact with our Top 100 customers, club members, and accounts that have gone quiet
Turn happy clients into referral sources by asking for introductions and reaching out to each new contact
Manage Orders with Care
Ask the right questions to understand each client's goals, then suggest solutions that fit
Prepare price quotes and check in on pending quotes to move them forward
Write up work orders accurately and collect client sign-off and deposits
Act as the link between clients and the production team, answering questions about active orders
Let clients know promptly when their order is complete
Bring in New Business
Call prospects from direct mail lists, new business listings, our existing customer files, and inactive accounts
Find new leads through networking groups, the Chamber of Commerce, LinkedIn, and online business directories
Coordinate direct mail and email promotions, including bi-monthly specials and outreach to club members and inactive clients
Put the Marketing Planner into action alongside the Owner or Marketing Representative
Record every contact in our database so no follow-up is missed
Support Day-to-Day Success
Partner with vendors to get pricing and check the status of orders
Help the owner with reports, end-of-day close-outs, invoicing, and recurring paperwork
Learn other areas of the business so you can step in wherever you're needed
Help maintain quality standards and a welcoming, tidy front office
What You Bring
Background
Your skills matter more than your degree: any mix of schooling, training, or work history that has prepared you for this role is welcome

Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills
A sharp eye for spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and careful proofreading
